Superintendent

The project consists of two 19 level towers containing 230 apartments. Gallagher Jeffs was engaged as the Design and Construct contract superintendent. Our role was to ensure that the building was designed and constructed to the high quality standards and the tight timeframe set out in the client’s brief. Gallagher Jeffs were required to monitor the progress of all contractors against the contract program. This task included the identification of problems and the formulation of remedial actions which were needed to mitigate potential delays. The auditing of the quality assurance aspects of the project was also an area of high priority. The completed building has been identified as the pre-eminent apartment block on the Port Melbourne Esplanade.
