Cornerstone Kyneton

Background

The vision set out for Kyneton is to have a sustainable future, environmentally , socially and economically. From the outset of the structure plan's aim is to continuously build and enhance Kyneton as a key local regional township.  Goldfields is driving growth in Kyneton by developing Kyneton Central, a 62-hectare large-format retail and commercial precinct. Currently, Stage 1 of the development is underway at the intersection of Edgecombe Road and Pipers Creek Road. 

This stage includes six lot areas, a reserve, and a riparian zone. Stage 1 is further divided into three projects, each defined by the specific lot areas:

  • Restricted retail (lots 201 and 107), 
  • Large Format retail - Bunnings (lot 106)
  • Pad sites comprising of a McDonalds, a Service station and  convenience store (lots 105, A and B).

 

Scope of service 

Gallagher Jeffs hav been appointed to support Goldfields with the procurement of consultants, design facilitation, town planning, procurement of a head contractor including negotiation and value management. During the construction phase, GJ will assume the role of Superintendent.
