Eden Rise Village

Background

Gallagher Jeffs was appointed by Pask to deliver project management services for two concurrent workstreams at Eden Rise Village: an upgrade to the Clyde Road intersection in collaboration with VicRoads, and the reconfiguration of a significant portion of the shopping centre following a partial Coles tenancy surrender.

The intersection works were driven by a need to improve traffic flow and accessibility into the centre, supporting future tenant mix and increased customer volumes. In parallel, the reconfiguration works aim to activate underutilised space caused by the previous Coles dark store, while improving amenity and leasing outcomes. Both projects are critical to ensuring Eden Rise continues to operate as a vibrant, accessible, and successful retail destination for the Berwick community.

 

Scope of services

Gallagher Jeffs was engaged to manage the full lifecycle of both projects, from consultant procurement and planning approval through to construction completion and defects management. Services provided include:

  • Preparation of project management plans and establishment of reporting frameworks
  • Design coordination and management of authority approvals
  • Consultant engagement and fee negotiations
  • Tender preparation, evaluation, and contractor appointment
  • Superintendent services under the head contract, including administration of contract obligations, cost reporting, programme monitoring, and defect rectification oversight
  • Stakeholder engagement with VicRoads, Coles, and internal leasing and development teams
