ACFS Port of Brisbane Facility

PROJECT BACKGROUND

As a result, of Altis Property Partner’s purchase of an 8.17-hectare site at the Port of Brisbane, ACFS, who are the largest privately owned Container Logistics operator in Australia, looked to tenant the site with a purpose built facility.

The development consists of a purpose-built 25,000sqm warehouse, 950sqm container wash bay and  designated external storage / handling space for empty and full containers (heavy & medium duty hardstand). 

The project also included approximately 1,200sqm of administration office space with car parking.  The facility was fitted out with a state of the art materials handling and storage equipment, configured to suit future expansion.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Gallagher Jeffs was engaged by Altis to review the project with ACFS to prepare of a comprehensive accommodation brief. The pre-construction phase consisted of establishing a PCG, co-ordinating the development approvals required and overseeing the completion of the design and documentation provided by the contractor. The design and construct delivery process was managed and the Agreement to the D&C contractor administered. Gallagher Jeffs continued to audit the construction and review the program and variations accordingly. The outcome consisted of the successful handover ready for tenancy occupation prior to planned PC.
