PROJECT BACKGROUND
Subsequent to obtaining development approval under a CDC approval, SpireCorp are developing the new lots into 53 warehouse units. This two-level business estate offers three types of business premises; Mini-Warehouses, Work Pods and Warehouse Units.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Gallagher Jeffs was appointed directly following the contractor Tender Phase. Our role is to provide governance of the design and construction works being undertaken by the Contractor, as the Superintendent under the Building Contract.
Our role included the administration of the D&C Contract between the contractor and SpireCorp. In doing so, we ensured the delivery of the project in line with the design intent, scope and quality defined in the Principle’s Project Requirements, to the defined construction programme and within budget, while also monitoring and reporting on construction issues and project risk.
