Project Background

Allity Aged Care (Allity) are one of Australia’s leading aged care providers with a portfolio of over 44 Homes across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. With a business model based around providing a new benchmark in aged care where the amenity provided is homelike with added benefits expected from services offered in leading boutique hotels.  Allity Homes wish to maintain and enhance the distinctive standard and service offering of their homes through the Common Area Upgrade project, through the incorporation of key design principles implemented to create a nourishing and personalisable environment with warmth and character. 

Scope of services 

Gallagher Jeffs was appointed at commencement of Design Development to manage the documentation phase, tender and construction of bedroom/bathroom refurbishments and general common area upgrade works. The common area upgrade works included refurbishment to all corridors, reconfiguration of the concierge and administration area, upgrade of all resident lounges and dining halls, landscaping works, and upgrade of information, communication and technology services.   


The project finished under budget and on programme, which allowed Allity to undertake additional upgrade works.
