Project Background
Yarra Valley Grammar resides on a single 29-hectare campus in Melbourne’s east. The School is dedicated to providing the best resources, facilities and teachers, offering co-educational learning experiences for students from Early Learning through to Year 12 catering to some 1200 students.
Scope of Services
Yarra Valley Grammar’s new Aquatic Centre building was designed to incorporate an indoor 25m x 12m (6 lane) Pool and Wading Pool with tiered seating, Reception, Staff room, Stores, Offices, Change rooms, Plant rooms and associated car parking, 50 No. external on grade spaces.
To improve connectivity with the community and to establish amenity that offers a wider benefit, the school co-developed the Aquatic Centre under a joint use agreement with Paul Sadler Swimland. The globally recognised operator provides quality training and teaching, helping children to swim and survive.
Outcome
The centre opened for swimming in November 2017
