Significant Gallagher Jeffs Growth Generates Company-Wide Promotions

The wealth of experience at Gallagher Jeffs has earned us a reputation for the quality and professionalism of our service delivery. This has resulted in significant growth within the company, leading to promotions within the Sydney and Melbourne offices. We congratulate seven staff members who have been recognised for their achievements and appointed to new roles.

In Sydney, the restructure follows the successful expansion within this key market. It has been a significant achievement for Gallagher Jeffs, and we are pleased to recognise Mark Georgiadis, Jonathan Downs and Kieran Pelling for their contribution. Creating a Sydney masthead was very much a team effort and has led to opportunities with national clients.

Mark Georgiadis

With over 34 year’s experience across the Asia Pacific region, Mark is an expert in project, program and facilities management. His involvement in the $50M 570 George Street Refurbishment and the $130M Natura – Romeciti project has strengthened the Gallagher Jeffs brand in the Sydney market, leading to his appointment as Director. Mark, who will also be joining the Gallagher Jeffs Board, remains committed to ensuring excellence in service provision and fostering a growth mindset that aids further expansion.

Jonathan Downs

Appointed as a Director, Jonathan has been recognised for his role in the growth of the Sydney office. A qualified civil engineer, he leads by example with his project management, engineering design, development advisory and construction certification experience. This has generated repeat business with Charter Hall and led to high-profile projects, including the $20M redevelopment of 130 Pitt Street, Sydney and The Ribbon, a $1B addition to Darling Harbour.

Kieran Pelling

Kieran has been recognised for his contribution that has helped the Sydney business expand from a team of four to 14 over the past 18 months. He has also played a key role in the success of the $20M Spirecorp Industrial Development and TAFE NSW Lismore Flood Repair project. As Director, Kieran will continue championing a positive work environment, which he sees as essential for staff to succeed in life and at work.

In Victoria, Gallagher Jeffs continues to be an industry leader. Comprehensive growth has led to the creation of new roles, with Gavin Prendergast, Andrew Minty, Arlen Nieuwenhuizen and Eden Spackman acknowledged for their involvement in our expansion.

Gavin Prendergast

Promoted to Director, Gavin has been an important member of the Gallagher Jeffs team for 12 years of his 18-year career. His prior experience in construction, both local and overseas, provided a solid grounding, which he has brought to his role at GJ helping shape our business processes and culture. An Education Sector Lead with an excellent understanding of contract administration and stakeholder management, his key projects include the $270M Seafarers for Riverlee and the $85M Geelong Civic Precinct.

Andrew Minty

Andrew has been a respected Gallagher Jeffs team member since 2015 and is valued for his dedicated and diligent communication, dispute resolution and project management skills. Backed by international experience and having played a vital role in iconic projects such as the $360M Queens Place (Tower 1), the $100M Le Meriden Melbourne and The Australian Ballet Redevelopment, we’re honoured to have Andrew assume a new role as Director.

Arlen Nieuwenhuizen

Bolstered by a decade of project management experience, Arlen now moves into a Project Director role. Recognised for his expertise in design management, stakeholder engagement and contract administration, he is committed to maintaining a positive workplace. Arlen also prides himself on his team-first approach, evident in the $270M Seafarers Development, $75M Como Terraces, Sportsbet Head Office and Jemena Head Office Refurbishment.

Eden Spackman

Finally, we congratulate Eden Spackman for her promotion to Senior Project Manager. A valuable member of the Vicinity Centres and German Auto Maker Flagship Showroom refurbishment projects, she has been working in this industry for eight years. Eden is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of Project Managers, with a focus on developing strong foundations and fostering relationships.

We wish Mark, Jonathan, Kieran, Gavin, Andrew, Arlen and Eden continued success at Gallagher Jeffs and look forward to seeing them move forward with confidence into these new roles.
