The project comprises the demolition of an existing low rise building, excavation of a 2 level basement car park and the construction of a new 5 level medium rise residential apartment building. This project is a new 28 unit apartment and a basement car park accommodating 24 cars. This project comprises 2,143 square metres of gross floor area. The site is located adjacent to Clarendon Street Shopping Precinct. The development offers a mix of one and two bedroom apartments located just 100m from Clarendon Street and backing onto a council park.
Scope of services
Gallagher Jeffs has been engaged to act as the superintendent for the novated design and construct contract. We were introduced to this project by the developer Dorcas St Investments who are a repeat client. Throughout the project, Gallagher Jeffs worked collaboratively with the client, consultants, head contractor and authorities and development approvals were delivered efficiently and within short timeframes. Gallagher Jeffs is also managing the project during the construction period ensuring the design intent is delivered on site and ensuring program, budget and quality measures are achieved.
