PROJECT BACKGROUND
Gallagher Jeffs were appointed as project managers for the repositioning of the former Ausgrid Tower, at 570 George St Sydney. The project comprised upgrade of building services, essential services, the warm shell refurbishment of 23 commercial office floors totaling 20,000sqm, 15 speculative fitouts, replacement of 25 floors of composite cladding including structural repairs to the façade, extensive public domain works, new ground floor retail activation and the creation of a new main lobby entrance from George St.
As the project was completed over 5 stages on a high profile corner of the city with tenants in occupation, safety was of the highest priority: particularly with the façade works and public domain works interfaces. The building was also heritage listed which added additional complexities with Development Application constraints and restoration works of significant elements.

Gallagher Jeffs were appointed as Project Manager from early works investigations through to project completion.
