As part of State Trustees strategy to decentralise from the Melbourne CBD to the various regions in Victoria in order to service their clients better, the Southern Service Centre in Dandenong was decided as the first site to be delivered and would be the pilot site for the future service centre locations.

Project management
Gallagher Jeffs was appointed as project manager for the delivery of the fitout of the Southern Service Centre. Our scope of works included: management of design, construction tender and head contract administration, workstation and loose furniture procurement, and overall project cost and program management.
The project was under strict time constraints due to the commitment to staff and clients to provide the new facility by April 2010. The delivery of the fitout was particularly challenging due to working in a 24hr occupied building with shared lift access. Gallagher Jeffs successfully delivered the project on program and under budget to the satisfaction of State Trustees.
